The classic saucepans with lids from Riess are characterized by their straight shape and traditional enamel handles. The lid sits firmly on the saucepan and serves as an energy monitor: as soon as the lid starts to rattle, it is time to reduce the heat and thus save electricity. Depending on the type of stove, the pot can be turned off completely around 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, as the enamel stores the heat for a long time. We therefore strongly recommend using pot holders to lift the pots and lids, as the enamel handles also store the heat. Another advantage of the enameled handles is that the pot can easily be placed in the oven to keep it warm. The edge of the pot has a sturdy chrome rim.
