You could also call it a milk pot or milk cup, but we simply call this classic shape a "spouted pot". This is thanks to the characteristically shaped spout, which can be used to pour liquids such as milk, water, soup and sauces into it with precision. With its round handle, our spouted pot is ideal for serving directly at the table. The edge is curved - flanged edge in enamel language - the metal is bent to create a round and stable edge. Not only did our grandma like the spouted pot, it is still a popular helper in the kitchen for all kinds of occasions.
The material enamel consists of iron that has been fused with glass at high temperatures, i.e. made from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware can be used on all types of stoves (gas, electric, glass ceramic, induction and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is quickly conducted and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking.
The porous, smooth glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. This is aroma-neutral and bacteria-inhibiting and also easy to clean. If used properly and cared for properly, enamelware will last for a long time and retain its typical shine.
Milk, sauces and other liquids such as soups can be easily heated in the spouted pot and poured without a ladle: warm vanilla sauce for strudel and Buchteln, for example, or simply frothed milk for morning coffee. Soup in the soup plate can also be easily poured into the plate using the spouted pot.
